cash. oh how i love you. i honestly thought you were gay there for a minute but when the book opened up about why & how you weren’t with a woman was like GAHHHHHH. i think that your character is so incredibly interesting I really thought I would love Cash because he was a sexy lawyer with dirty mouth and wore glasses, and I love men with glasses, but the things this man did. I've read some really weird shit in my life that I thought was hot, but the things this man was doing WERE NOT. The examples:

I enjoyed Cash & Ariana’s story. They had a lot of chemistry and I loved watching their relationship develop. Let’s table the past lovers conversation,” he says dryly, pushing so my lips are flush with his pelvis. I breathe slowly through my nostrils, though the act grows more difficult, the longer he keeps me there. “I don’t have time to go around, shooting everyone who’s ever touched you.”Before bedtime: Many people find that reading before bedtime helps them unwind and relax, which can promote better sleep. These two really complimented each other and I just kept wanting more of their story! It felt like their love story was the least chaotic in the series and the most endearing.

I couldn't get ENOUGH of Cash & Ariana.. I just wanted a years LATER epilogue! I NEEED it like I need air to BREATHHHHHEEE SAV! PLEASE! Ariana is such a badass, I love her vengeful persona and her soft heart which she shows very rarely. Cash being a lawyer is dangerous and he will go to anything just to save Ariana. His instant want for her was just so satisfying throughout the book.

It is an extraordinary piece of work, a perfect balancing act with terror on one side and love on the other. This exceptionally well-written novel is all about suspense, thrill and drama, including the relationships between generations and what happens between long-standing friends. The characters are sensitively portrayed, as is their recovery, and the hopeful ending is realistic. Readers of domestic dramas will be enthralled. For those who love gritty, somewhat nasty mysteries with weird, and an exotic setting in one of the world’s most famous cities, this thriller mystery will satisfy. It is perfect for a long plane trip or a rainy weekend. Details About

I was just.. disappointed. I liked the dark romance aspects, but everything felt really disjointed to me. Smut was pretty A+, and I really enjoyed the dark romance aspect of it. One thing I enjoy about Miller's writing is that there's no morally gray, it's just dark romance. My morals kept trying to push their way in, but honestly I enjoyed the possessiveness, the push and pull, and crazy wild chemistry of the characters. However, a big however.. I felt like their interactions were just so haphazard. I got a handle on it maybe in the middle third of the book, kinda, but I got whiplash with very little context about what was happening from one moment, one line to the next. I felt very thrown around and didn't know what was happening or why and not in a good way. When nothing else comes, I shift, clasping the cloth over her nose and mouth. She jolts awake, panic sending her limbs sprawling, but I press my weight on top of her, smothering her for several seconds. She could sever the beating heart from my warm body, and I wouldn’t stop her right now No other thoughts, only Cash demanding to get slapped more than once because it makes him proud that Ariana is his wife 🫠 Her stranger turns out to be Cash Primrose. A quarter billion dollars & a marriage certificate later, Ariana finds herself expecting the other shoe to drop. I love your temper, and your attitude, and that soft, passionate heart you keep hidden away from plain sight. Separately, together, it doesn’t matter—anything at all that you give me, I want, forever.”

Then there’s the end. It was just alright. I felt like the ending was kind of abrupt. Like, it was fine, but just kind of came to an end. There was a story line that wasn’t finished, so I hope that gets resolved in the next book or it’s going to be on my mind until the day I die. I just loved the romance in this one, everything about it worked for me. How much they wanted each other, how much they were into each other, their obsession and their possessive thoughts, their want to be together no matter what happens, the hurt/comfort and the super sweet moments between them, the steamy scenes and how lovely they were, the characters and how nicely developed they were and how well they fit together, and the dark romance elements were super wonderfully done, but mostly, just how good of a couple these two were and how lovely their romance was. Sav R. Miller is a USA Today bestselling author of adult romance with varying levels of darkness and steam. My other issue with this book is the plot line involving Ricci Inc. It was confusing and not pieced together well and ended up overshadowing everything and everyone in this book, for no reason. I felt like all of Ariana’s actions were obsolete which was frustrating. The plot twist wasn’t surprising and it wasn’t as impactful as I would have wanted. I just feel after everything Ariana went through, she didn’t get the justice she deserved. Cash didn’t treat her right either. Ugh. His actions were never explained to her. Granted nothing was explained to her, because they both never talked about anything except maybe sex? But even that was occasional.
