The smartphone is powered by a powerful processor, MediaTek MT6779V Helio P95 Octa-core while the GPU is PowerVR GM9446. The device supports Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) and runs on the Android 11 + ColorOS 11.1 operating system. The OPPO A94 is unfortunately not waterproof as it does not have any IP rating. The A94 is more than capable of producing social-media-worthy photos. However, the Samsung A52’s array is slightly better, featuring a 64MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro and a 5MP depth sensor. The Oppo phone often dropped connection for small periods of time when we were using it, whether with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or mobile data connectivity. The first of those manifested in connected headphones sometimes disconnecting and reconnecting after a few seconds; Wi-Fi was sometimes a problem playing online games where we’d now and then repeatedly freeze, or be seconds out of sync for other players; twice in our time with the phone data dropped out completely, though restarting the device fixed the error.The speed is not the fastest I have used but it isn't a slouch and it more than handled most games and apps that I threw at it.
With that said, more megapixels on a camera doesn’t always correlate to better photos. Sure, a higher megapixel camera can take in more information; however, it’s only apparent when printing out images on a larger scale. How often do we print out photos taken with our phones? For me, never.

The smartphone is enabled with GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, QZSS, USB Type-C, USB On-The-Go, and Bluetooth 5.1. The dimension of the device is 160.1 x 73.2 x 7.8 mm and it weighs 172 grams.
Finally, the ultra-wide camera does what it says on the tin. There was good consistency in lighting and color between this and the main camera, though snaps could be noticeably distorted at the edges. The handset likely won’t go on sale in the US, as Oppo doesn’t sell its phones there, but Australian availability is up in the air. While the A94’s siblings are all on sale in the country, this phone isn’t - this makes it unlikely the handset will reach the golden shores, but we can’t say that for certain. Phase detection, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama, Video (4K@30fps, 1080p@30/120fps; gyro-EIS)The OPPO A94 in question is a 4G smartphone, however, the 5G version of the OPPO A94 was released a little later in the year on the 3rd of May. The two smartphones are pretty much identical with the same display size of 6.43 inches, but they come in different color options and there are some slight tweaks in terms of specs as well. The price is the real selling point of the Oppo A94 5G though - despite costing more than its siblings, it’s still great value if you’re looking for next-gen connectivity. For video fans, you can record at up to 4K, but only ever at 30fps - there didn’t seem to be a way to increase the framerate of shooting, even at lower resolutions. Slow-mo goes up to 1080p.

It's thin, lightweight, sleek and feels good in the hand. I've used many phones in my life and this is up there with how it feels to hold. The buttons feel solid and well positioned and the phone overall definitely gives the impression of being more expensive than it actually is. The Oppo A94 5G has four rear cameras, and it’s the same array as the A54 and A74. Finally, a section in which we don’t need to keep comparing it to its family! The A94 comes with a respectable 8GB of RAM, 2GBs more than the Samsung A52, and it’s great. CameraThe A94 5G comes with a 4310mAh battery. It’s enough to get you through a full day of heavy usage and two days of light use. It’s standard for a mid-range phone. This was a problem with close-up shots (flowers, food etc), and not so much with snaps with a wider field of view. And these pictures were still better than macro ones, which had strangely crushed darker areas and an odd yellowy hue.
