The Lenovo ThinkVision M14d features a compact, 14-inch 2.2K display that delivers sharp text and images. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate and a 178-degree field of view. The monitor uses an adjustable hinged stand, which folds inward to makes it super easy to transport—especially since the display weighs just 1.3 pounds. The display has up to 300 nits brightness and a high contrast ratio (1,500:1), which together help make content look good on the screen—even in a brightly lit areas. Make sure you have both of your Xebec Tri-Screens connected to your MacBook Pro via the USB-C cables. Launch SwitchResXfrom your System Preferences window If you are using a USB splitter or USB-Hub try plugging the cables directly into the laptop ports instead of the hub or splitter and see if that fixes the problem. Most splitters and hubs split the power from a single USB port thus restricting the required power supply to each screen. If your laptop does not have any Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C with DisplayPort ports, you will need to use one USB-A to USB-C cable to supply power and one HDMI to Mini-HDMI cable to supply the video feed for each screen.

I think the display quality is stunning! Everything looks basically the same as my main screen, which is impressive. Consider the overall size and weight of the monitor, especially if you expect to carry it along with your computer when on the road. Smaller screen sizes are lighter than larger ones, by nature. An attached monitor may make sense, so you can carry everything as one unit. If you’ll be using a portable monitor with your laptop computer, for the best experience, choose a monitor size that’s about the same as your laptop’s display and then position the two monitors side-by-side at the same height. If you’re using a three display portable monitor setup, or a specialty portable monitor, this suggestion does not apply. That’s when I chatted with customer service and they recommended the Tri Screen Adaptor. This is just one large adaptor that directly connects the screens with the USB ports on my laptop.
