John David Washington plays an ex-special forces agent in a world of robots-versus-humans warfare tasked with a mission to assassinate the elusive mastermind behind advanced artificial-intelligence tech that could either obliterate mankind or finally enable lasting peace. Traveling into the “dark heart of AI-occupied territory,” however, David discovers the weapon he’s hunting is but a small child (or at least a cyborg in kid’s clothing), triggering some latent paternal instinct. Going by the less internet-friendly title of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, this superhero sequel – which we're calling Aquaman 2– will continue the underwater adventures of Jason Momoa's DC superhero.Characters: Wade Wilson, a.k.a. Deadpool, James "Logan" Howlett, a.k.a. Wolverine, Eloise Phimister, a.k.a. Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Piotr Rasputin, a.k.a. Colossus, Yukio, Vanessa Carlysle, Blind Al, Dopinder, Peter Ariana DeBose ( West Side Story) voices Asha, who travels to Rosas, the kingdom of wishes, to have her wish granted by its magical ruler King Magnifico (Chris Pine). When her request isn't approved, Asha makes a wish so powerful that it's answered by a cosmic force, known simply as Star. Along with Asha's pet goat Valentino, the duo embark on a quest to save Asha's kingdom from a looming darkness, which King Magnificio may have a hand in ushering in. Squid Game: The Challenge season 1 – Reality series spin-off from Squid Game, which sees real contestants taking on the games from the show to try and win a huge cash prize. Over 20 years since they last collaborated in Gladiator, Joaquin Phoenix and acclaimed director Ridley Scott have reunited to craft a stunning cinematic experience that focuses on the legendary French military commander, political leader, and king. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off season 1 – Anime series based on the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels, executive produced by Edgar Wright and featuring the cast of the 2010 film adaptation reprising their roles.
Dune star Timothée Chalamet dons the top hat as a younger version of a character previously played by Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp, and has described the movie as "so sincere, it’s so joyous". And while that could easily be PR fluff, we actually believe him. It's hard to believe Disney celebrated its 100th year this year – and the world-renowned entertainment company is going all-out to commemorate a century of wowing viewers across the world.
