I also didn't need to be told three different times what her height and weight were. Trent and Carrie are amazing together. Trent thinks that he is above everyone because he is rich and dresses well. He constantly criticizes everyone around him. He thinks he should always get what he wants when he wants. He achieves this by yelling and threatening to fire everyone.

Carrie is a likeable character who puts up with a lot because she sees the best in everyone. She’s kind, caring and unpretentious. Her sweet nature draws others to want to help her or fall for her.This book was nothing like I expected. I laughed the whole way through this book. Liza O'Connor has written an amazing book with this one. This is not your typical rich boss falls in love with his employee. There is a little bit of everything in this book, but instead of the intense drama you get a muted version filled with humor. Once I started reading this book I could not put it down and I am sure everyone around me thought I was crazy since I couldn't stop laughing.

However, the future of his company and his happiness depend upon him succeeding, so Trent begins a slow one week seduction, that happens to coincide with Carrie Hanson's Worst Week Ever when everything that can go wrong does so in hilarious form. (Hilarious to the reader, Carrie is not having much fun this week.) There were a lot of things wrong here that I think a good beta read could have helped. The book overall needed a lot of tightening up, it was like a sweater unraveling in places.

As the first book in the series, A Long Road to Love, I’m dying to see what happens next!
