Oí siempre decir a mi madre "¡Alabado sea Dios!" ante cualquier contratiempo o penalidad. En las escuelas católicas se enseña la resignación y aceptación de los males y la bondad de ponerse en manos de Dios. Y recordemos lo que el refranero nos dice: «No hay mal que por bien no venga». Que no deja de ser el mismo principio que propone el autor.

Everything about this book was amazing. It has the perfect amount of chemistry and tension, the kind that had me on the edge of my seat waiting for them to give in to each other (but without making me wait toooo long). And when they finally did… whew. Fireworks. Some of the best spice I’ve read recently. The pace was perfect, I truly could not put it down. I opened it to read the synopsis and suddenly i was at 80% - no joke. The praise and dirty talk in this book had me feeling like I was the one being personally praised. And more importantly, I’ve found something that I love as much as Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas. 😭 The best thing about this is the relationship building. Not just the obvious lovers but from Charlie and Beau to Beau and Emerson to Charlie and Sophie. I especially loved the sisters, they’re so sweet together. And when Emerson immerses himself in that family it made it even better. UMMMM this book is hot. and I mean like scorching. This book has everything, praise, voyeurism, exhibitionism, kink, jealousy, tension, push and pull, forbidden, and a whole lot of love. There's a lot of hot sex in this book, and I loved all of it. However, my favorite thing was the tension of Emerson and Charlotte's relationship and how it progresses. They know they shouldn't, they know feelings are going to get hurt in the process, but they can't help themselves. The father-son relationship was well handled and provided just the right amount of angst, as did Charlotte's own relationship with her father. Otra argumentación del libro resulta sorprendente. Charlotte’s personal growth and character development alone are five stars. You can’t help but fall in love with her and how she refuses to be treated differently from what she wants. Side note that scene with Eden, I love to turn that part into a movie. Smoking hot. She makes the perfect book girlfriend. Broken down by her emotionally neglectful ex, all Charlie Underwood wants is someone to tell her she's good enough. Then she stumbles into a new job with a boss who brings her to her knees-literally. The FMC Charlotte was so embarrassing and annoying fr. she was shown so desperate and needy and honestly i felt second hand embarrassment because of her lmfaoo💀 La educación que yo recibí, me enseñó que llegada la hora, seremos juzgados por nuestras obras de acción y pensamiento, para entrar en el Reino de Dios. I had the BEST time reading this romance from Sara Cate. I have loved a few other books by this author as well, but this was so much fun. It was sweet and spicy and quite a bit naughty. It's the first in a new series about the Salacious Player's Club. A place where all your desires can come true.
