I love to see his relationship with Eli, and seeing exactly how they interact was the cherry of this cake. All this hypothetical stories and possible plots just started building in my mind and now I can’t stop thinking about Eli and Ava, Jeremy and Cecile and Brandon and Nikolai.
ok but this was honestly so good?? i admit i started the first book when it was released, but still haven't gotten around to finishing it ( just a matter of me being distracted with something else at the time and lost my mood to continue afterwards lol), but i was invested with this one specifically from the start. i loved Creighton and Annika's dynamic so much and the way Creighton was obsessed with her? chefs kiss. i also loved seeing Annika's development by the end. there was a certain scene she left me shook bc i never would have expected it from her in the beginning, but i was definitely rooting for her. i was giddy during their cute moments, which they had more than i thought they would but i adored it. <3 Surprise virgin h/H has slept around but hasn’t in many months/H has never kissed anyone or gotten a b j You spend more time with Killian than with us, Glyn.” Creighton looks at her, then slides his attention to Ava. “And you ignore everyone when my brother is around.” He stares at Cecily. “As for you, let’s just say you’ve been sneaking out whenever everyone is asleep. Their first kiss. Hers and HIS. Yes, our Creigh has devious tendencies towards women but it’s all control and inflicting pain. Kissing wasn’t something he wanted to do but with Anni it was all he wanted. mild OW-H goes to a smex club. There are two naked girls there for him and his sadist cousin, who likes to inflict pain just like the H. The H ends up leaving the scene when he keeps picturing the h (he doesn’t even get near the OW). This is before they’ve done anything
I gonna even talk about the fiasco that Rina made of that shot, It was not that deep. I laugh all the scene, because really? She was protecting her brother (the guy who always was in her life) from the guy who "loved" her and almost killed her brother because of his petty revenge. And I say petty because he had a family who loved him (and he has been dumb enough to risk his family's life, because Adrian definitely wasn't letting this go) for the fact he had some hard time? And let's remember that the family who loved him had him because of Adrian. Creighton. Creighton has his own demons from his past that he is battling and wants to avenge. AnnikaThe banter and group chat between all the guys was absolutely hilarious as well. This book definitely seemed to focus more on Creighton’s side and group, which I didn’t mind.
