Mastering the fighting techniques of each character is a challenge, and the depth of the single-player game is impressive. I'm not a huge fan of Syn (she was little bit too blonde and beautiful) but her personality complimented Ryder's perfectly. If I am remembering right they each are the second in their series, but I do think you can start with them.

After their deaths, she was adopted by her uncle who was the head of the local Guild- a society that protects humans from harm from the Faerie world and their occupants. They might not like each other but they have this inexplicable attraction, two sworn enemies who can't keep their hands off each other.And if you read Motorcycle Man without having read Mystery Man (where Tack is introduced) you still love it, you just don’t love it as much as if you know who he is (so 100% versus 120% – not bad).
