I’ve had a few small drops with my phone (off the bedside locker or work desk, out of my pocket when sitting down etc) and not only did the phone stay protected but the case handled it very well. Bring leather it will scuff but I’ve found scuff marks wear away very quickly keeping the look of the case very clean. Interaction with MagSafe accessories will leave slight imprints (as shown in the last image of the gallery). Like every Apple-designed case, it undergoes thousands of hours of testing throughout the design and manufacturing process. So, it’s great to have the official Apple product and I like that the bottom of the case is open - it stops the bottom getting grubby and also allows you to swipe up more easily than other cases. Protection wise it obviously isn’t the most protective case you can get but will definitely protect the phone.

Some mention that it's well-made and feels good in the hand, while others say that it won't last long, the silicone started to tear after only a few months, and the case is brittle.
